THE GOOD, THE BAD, PEDRO'S BACK!!!!

THE GOOD

The top of the 5th... Mets score 8 runs... Game over...

Also good... Being reminded how lucky we were that the Giants offered Zito that insane contract...

And, of course, the return of Pedro... He wasn't great last night, by any means, but pitched solidly, went 6 innings, and most importantly, he was just there... If he can somehow stay healthy the rest of the year, it'll be such a huge boost to the team!!!

THE BAD

Jose went 0-5... Trade the BUM!!!

Church went 0-4... He sucks too!!!

Schoeneweis gave up a 3-run dinger - TRADE HIS SORRY ASS OUTTA HERE!!!

Hey, this is fun... Now I feel like one of those "REAL" Mets fans!!!!

THE PEDRO!!!!

OOPS... Wrong Pedro!!!

I like this guy better anyway!!!

One of those "REAL" Mets fans... *snort,* lol.... :)!!!!!

Seriously, though, I'm really happy that Pedro's back; the question is, can he STAY back, not as in staying back in school, but staying back in the rotation.

And as much as having Pedro back is a good thing, I'm not going to say it's going to be the thing that turns this thing around, considering what I said under Yesterday's Score -- he came back last September, and we all know what happened *snicker.*

So I'm happy, but cautiously happy.

Well, that's why I said IF he can stay healthy the rest of the year, it would be a nice boost to the team...

I remain cautioulsy optimistic about that happening...

Me, too. The team has to make sure he follows his health protocol, and give him as much rest as they can. Pedro, even when healthy, has ALWAYS needed the extra day here and there, and the Mets had better make sure they give it to him.

In other words, don't Ryan Church him, lol! Hee hee hee...

Agreed there, and if it means skipping him once in a while, or pushing back his starts when there is an extra day off somewhere, I'm fine with that...
