Of course, it isn't only the American companies that want to save a buck, it's the American people, too. Everybody likes a bargain...until the bargain proves to ultimately cost more than it saved.

The technology on view Friday night combined with the numbers of people involved was absolutely masterful.

One thing I really liked about the ceremony was the manner in which the various presidents, prime ministers, sultans, poobahs and other rulers of the world were seated. They actually had regular seats, and actually got a chance, it seems, to mingle with each other as fans. This is the type of stuff that can go a long way towards diplomatic relations, and is probably worth more than a thousand prestaged conferences, lol.Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14926167077492487461noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9183970606894154311.post-91033787455406455192008-08-11T10:25:00.000-04:002008-08-11T10:25:00.000-04:00Good morning Debs...:)I have to say that I've been...Good morning Debs...:)

I have to say that I've been enjoying the Olympics also and agree with you on the show that they put on opening night.

On a political note...its obvious that technically, China is very sound in this area and the world should have taken note, if there had been a question about them up to this point.

...Now if we can only get our American company's from buying, or should I say 'producing' their 'trash' that they have accumulated over their long history into our products that are sold here via China, i.e. lead toys(paint, etc) and such I think the american people would look at the country differently.

Then again, its the american companies that are trying to save a buck, so maybe its time to look in the mirror and take responsibility.rob karterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12890944300889904244noreply@blogger.com
